How to submit photos to our critiques/Contests
You can submit your photographs by Clicking Here.
You can submit up to Four (4) of your photographs on the Valley Photo Center photo contest website. You can join the on line club site for free. If you have any trouble signing up or submitting photos please contact me for help.

2. Click on Add Photo
3. Add up to four (4) photos, the site allows you to enter more, but please limit yourself to four (4).
4. Success (Any problems contact me)
5. Please judge the photos by clicking on the stars. You can judge your own photos if you want.
April, 2026 Photo Critique
You can now submit images for our April, 2026 Photo Critique. You can submit up to four of your images for the photo critique at the meeting. We'll also have a member judging to select images that will go on display at the Valley Photo Center gallery. We'll award ribbons for images that score 80+.If you are 55+ you can attend the meeting in person, but if you are lucky enough to be younger you can still enter your photographs and we'll critique them on line.
February, 2026 Photo Critique
There will be a photo critique meeting of the Camera Club at the Longmeadow Adult Center on Thursday, February 11, 1:30 PM at the:
Longmeadow Adult Center, 231 Maple Rd, Longmeadow, MA 01106, United States.
You can submit up to four of your images for the photo critique at the meeting. We'll also have a member judging to select images that will go on display at the Valley Photo Center gallery. We'll award ribbons and the images selected will be printed by the VPC for display in the gallery with grant money awarded by the Springfield Cultural Commission
If you are 55+ you can attend the meeting in person, but if you are lucky enough to be younger you can still enter your photographs and we'll critique them on line.

Winners of our Fall 2024 Photo Contest

As part of the Valley Photo Center Walker Evans Celebration, we are sponsored an Evan’s themed photography contest. The Metropolitan Museum of Art wrote that Evans was “the progenitor of the documentary tradition in American photography.” Entries were inspired by his work and were judged by London based street photographer, Stephen Leslie, who was be in the United States to do a street photography workshop on Saturday October 5, 2024 and give a lecture about Walker Evans on Sunday October 6, 2024 for the Valley Photo Center that is free and open to the public.
Prizes will included enlargements of the digital files, photography books from photographers like Man Ray, Steichen, Helmut Newton, and others, award ribbons, an Epson Stylus Photo R2400 Ink Jet printer with some CMYK inks, and paper and other merchandize prizes.

The March Photo Contest was won by Barbara Krawczyk for her photo "Orchard Beauty"
In addition to the normal ribbons and print prizes Barbara won a book called "An Auto Biography Richard Avedon"

It's easy to join fellow photographers from the Valley Photo Center.
There is no entry fee for members and it's FREE to join.
